White Petrified Wood is a fossil stone created when ancient trees become buried beneath layers of sediment and mineral-rich groundwater gradually replaces the original wood with silica. During this natural transformation, the tree’s cellular structure, grain, and growth rings are preserved while the material becomes stone.
